Ways to use neckline appliques

Add a neckline applique to any plain top, dress or kaftan to give your item a designer boutique look. Our necklines are carefully sourced for quality and often we have used them ourselves.

You can try to find a neckline that matches a current garment neckline exactly but this isn't likely to happen. So, no need to panic! Simply adjust the neckline of the applique or the garment where possible (and depending on your experience level). If that isn't possible then allowing the neckline applique to sit a little above or below the garment neckline works perfectly well too.

If you want to have a go at altering the garment but aren't confident in opening the stitching to make adjustments to the item then the easy way is to position the applique on top of the garment and chalk the neckline onto the fabric. Simply trim the garment and use an over locker to tidy up the new neckline and then sew the neckline directly onto it. No over locker? No problem! Use a tight zigzag stitch on your regular machine.

The sequin appliques are lightweight and set on net which can be trimmed down to suit and make an ideal addition to dresses!
